Thanks to the kind hospitality of Body Fuel Organics, if you live in or around Regina, Saskatchewan, you can now join the CSF the same way that members in Vancouver do!
How does it work?
2010 is our first year opening our CSF to members in Regina. We plan to drive out to Regina in September with your share of salmon. You will receive email updates in late summer letting you know when you can expect the pick-up dates to be. Your box will be available for pick up at Body Fuel Organics, Regina. (www.bodyfuelorganics.ca)
How much is one share? $250.
Your membership rate is the same as for Vancouver members. Your share will be about a 10% smaller in value to cover the cost of transporting the fish to Regina.
What will I get?
You will receive an equitable variety of fish and smoked products based on the volume we catch. Your share will be approximately 75% fillets and 25% smoked salmon. Based on our catch from last season, here is what your share may have looked like:
12 fillets (2-2.5lbs per fillet) (a total of about 60 servings)
2 packs of smoked salmon (1/2 lb each)
2 packs of pepper smoked salmon (1/2 lb each)
2 packs of salmon candy (1/2 lb each)
1 pack of sliced lox (200gr each)
Please remember that this is an example. Your share will look differently each year based on the nature of the fishing season. But be assured that your box will be an equitable share of what we catch with some smoked products made as an extra service to our members.
